Ready to get off the roller coaster? As a life coach for highly sensitive people, my goal is to help you stress less and overcome overwhelm!
about that roller coaster...
For way too many highly sensitive people, life feels like an out-of-control roller coaster.
You push yourself up the hill. To do more. To be more. To meet other people’s expectations. To be “normal”.
Sometimes you succeed.
But inevitably your cart reaches the very top of the hill and you come down. Fast. After pushing yourself beyond capacity, you end up stressed out and exhausted. Irritable and overstimulated. Retreating from the world because you just can’t take one. more. thing.
And all of this up and down makes you feel… Well, like crap. Feeling like you are weak and like there’s something wrong with you. Feeling high maintenance and bad about yourself.
Sound familiar?
If yes, please know that you are not alone. This is what happens when highly sensitive people have been taught to follow the lifestyles preferred by the less sensitive. When they have been told time and time again that they are “too sensitive” and that they should “just grow thicker skin.”
I know how it goes because I’ve been there.
HI! I'M ANNI!
I'm a highly sensitive introvert myself and I know what it's like. I know all about stress, anxiety, and overwhelm. I know what it’s like to have to shut the door and hide in your bedroom, because your nervous system got fried once again. I know how hard it is to prioritize self care and I know how overwhelming it is to try to figure out where to even start. I know the obstacles that can hold you back from making the changes you are yearning for.
But I also know that it's very much possible to turn it all around. I did it myself, and as a certified professional life coach, I'd love to serve as your guide as you identify and implement the right stress reduction tools for you!

HOW CAN COACHING HELP?
1. FOCUS
Many of us lead busy lives full of distractions, so one of the greatest benefits of coaching is simply having the dedicated space and time to focus on what you really want in life and how to get it.
Day-to-day, people often spend a few moments thinking about their problems or having half-hearted conversations about them with family and friends. But then you get interrupted or overwhelmed or just stuck not knowing what to do and the issue gets dropped with no solution or way forward.
The coaching process, on the other hand, will almost always result in a way forward. As your coach, I will help you stay focused and keep asking questions for as long as is necessary to reach a resolution that helps you move forward.
And one nice side effect of this process is that many clients are able to greatly reduce the amount of time they spend ruminating about problems outside the coaching sessions. Whenever something pops up, you just make a note and “save it” for discussion in your next session.2. CLARITY
Another one of the greatest benefits of coaching is increased clarity. Here’s how that comes about. First, you explain what’s been going on to me. I then summarize what you have said and ask clarifying questions. This simple act of saying things out loud and hearing someone else “parrot back” your thoughts, coupled with the clarifying questions, will help you gain tremendous amounts of self awareness in terms of what you really want and need, what is holding you back, what you can use to motivate yourself, what resources you can draw on, and what you are actually capable of. All of this clarity will then help you move forward with newfound confidence.
3. SUPPORT
Let’s be honest here. Making changes is hard. It’s really, really hard. But as you are taking the first steps out of your comfort zone, I will walk with you. I will encourage you and I will cheer you on. And – unlike family and friends who may be well-intentioned, but who often have their own interests in the game – I will be completely committed to YOUR agenda. I won’t talk over you, I won’t interject with my own issues, and I won’t dismiss your goals because “I just don’t get it”. The coaching process is all about YOU.
4. PERSPECTIVE
We all have blind spots – beliefs and patterns of behavior we don’t even realize are holding us back in life. This is where having an outsider’s perspective can really supercharge your progress. The coaching process is designed to help you see how you might be unduly limiting yourself and how you might be overlooking certain resources and opportunities. With honest and direct feedback, I’ll help you remove limits, overcome obstacles, and uncover your full potential.
5. STRATEGY
After you are crystal clear about where you want to go, I’ll help you formulate a strategy and action plan for getting there. If you’d like, I will share tips and techniques that have worked for myself and for my other HSP clients. We’ll outline very specific DOABLE next steps designed to move you forward on the path toward your goal.
6. ACCOUNTABILITY
We might not always want to admit it, but the truth is that there’s nothing like having to report to someone else to get you to do what you say you will do. 🙂 So yes, as your coach, I will help hold you accountable! But we will go beyond that and also explore ways to keep yourself motivated and hold yourself accountable long after the coaching process is over.
7. TRANSFORMATION
While the most obvious goal in coaching is to get you from point A (your current situation) to point B (the immediate outcome you want to achieve), there’s much more to coaching than that. The ultimate goal in coaching is transformation. By participating in the coaching process, you will gain new levels of self awareness, squash limiting beliefs, and acquire invaluable self management skills. This personal growth is something that will help carry you forward wherever you decide to go on your life’s journey.
Here's more detail about how i can support you
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions, but here’s a sort of framework I like to use to create customized coaching programs for my clients.
1.
Together we will evaluate your current life situation to identify areas needing the most attention and to identify the biggest sources of stress.
2.
Based on our findings in step 1, we will select tools that might be most helpful in bringing more calm and contentment to your life.
3.
Often it isn’t just one thing. So we’ll think about what will potentially make the biggest difference right now, prioritize goals, and select a starting point.
4.
Next comes implementation. Between our sessions, you will work on implementing whatever strategies we have agreed upon. In sessions, we’ll evaluate how things are going, troubleshoot, and address any doubts, thoughts, or beliefs that might be holding you back.
5.
And then we just keep at it! You will receive accountability and support to keep going until you notice the changes you are looking for.
WHAT ABOUT THE TOOLS?
Stress is both mental and physical. It’s a natural response to a difficult situation. In your mind, stress causes you to worry or feel overwhelmed. In your body, you might feel tense or fired up. Often there’s a feedback loop between the mental and physical stress symptoms and previous efforts at stress reduction have failed because they only address one side of the equation. In order to select the most appropriate tools for you, I like to place a lot of focus on clarifying your stress triggers and the ways stress manifests itself in your life. For most people, it’s necessary to address stress from several different angles in order to make a difference. Below are some examples of tools that help many highly sensitive people with stress and overwhelm.
WHAT CLIENTS SAY

Working with Anni has changed my ability to follow through on things and make long term, sustainable changes in my life. Her unique perspective has helped me accept my sensitivities and to work with them rather than against them. As a result, I feel more comfortably myself and am able to accomplish what I want on my own terms. It’s made me rethink so many things I took for granted as “just how things are”. Now I know that there is a way of approaching all aspects of my life that can suit me.
If you’re highly sensitive, she is the coach for you. Believe me, I have been coached by others and she is the only one that has had the depth of knowledge and experience to guide me. Where others have pushed, she has held space. And she understands, she UNDERSTANDS! It is such a relief to be understood and to feel like you aren’t somehow defective because you do and feel things differently. I am really grateful I found her.

What Clients Say
Anni has guided me in a calm and compassionate way through a process where I was able to embrace a part of myself that I had rejected for a very long time. It felt like a piece of the puzzle was coming together without being overwhelmed by it. Thank you Anni for providing a safe space to meet myself on a deeper level and fundamentally change my perspective.
